Jim T. Taylor
Principal

When companies bring Jim Taylor on board, they get more than a change management consultant. They benefit from the hands-on commitment of a corporate turnaround expert with proven knowledge leadership. And success.

Experienced in corporate turnarounds as well as operational and financial activities with full P&L responsibilities, Jim’s work has delivered outstanding ROI and results for investors, lenders and shareholders. He works closely with the team at Greater Yield to empower his leadership experience with the management tools and skill sets necessary to produce the kind of results clients demand-from production to HR, from accounting to marketing, to research and development.

In 2001, Thomas Group, a publicly-held, international NASDAQ-listed corporate consultancy firm, recruited Jim to be CFO. Within three years he was CEO, and in less than five years, he was named CEO/President. As a result of his leadership, the company’s revenue doubled in two years, all debt was paid off with a bottom line equal to 17 percent of the top line, and the company paid dividends to its shareholders for the first time.

His corporate turnaround management expertise has also helped him lead many other companies through transformations and high-growth phases. His proven record of success earned him the International 'Stevie Award' for Best Turnaround Executive and the Jenkins & Gilchrist 'CEO of the Year Award' in 2006. He has also created companies recognized as among the fastest growing in the country or that delivered the fastest return to shareholders of public companies in Dallas.

Jim served three years in the U.S. Army, stationed in the U.S. and European theater. He completed his graduate work at California State Polytechnic University in Engineering and Accounting, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. He served three years on the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation Board and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Dallas.
